St. Francis De Sales Public School believes that children are the most precious wealth on earth, and allowing them to explore their surroundings will contribute significantly to their overall development. With this in mind, the management of St. Francis De Sales Public School organized a picnic on November 29th, 2023, for students of the Primary section from Grade V-VII to GRS Fantasy, a popular amusement park in Mysuru city. The strength of 299 students began their journey to the destination at 7:30 a.m., accompanied by 22 teachers, 6 support staff, and the principal.

Upon arrival at the destination, the students were thrilled to discover a wide range of rides, games, and entertainment options such as swing chairs, dashing cars, toy trains etc. After enjoying a sumptuous meal, they hurried back to experience the water fun post-lunch, which turned out to be the highlight of the day. Following the water games, students indulged in delicious snacks and ice cream.

The departure from GRS Fantasy Park commenced at 5:30 p.m., and their joyous spirits continued as they filled the bus with laughter, dancing, and singing all the way back to the school premises, where they arrived by 8:30 p.m.
