Desparta '25

Sports shape the character. It teaches one to play by rules, it teaches one collaborate, cooperate and to stand united in highs and lows- Sports teach about life.

St. Francis De Sales Public School ICSE & ISC conducted the annual sports event Desparta ‘25, themed “Ace the Race” in the first week of December.

Mr. Sukesh Hegde, The International Kabbadi Player, Ekalavya Awardee and a prominent name in Pro Kabbadi League, was the chief Guest of the day and Rev. Fr. S. Sateesh Kumar the Registrar, Controller of Examinations at Suvidya College was the Guest of Honour.

Mr. Sukesh Hedge set the motion for Despartha’25 by addressing the students with his inspiring words. He appreciated the sportsmanship showcased by Desalites and declared the meet open. Students expressed their inner strength and commitment towards their Houses throughout the event. Track events were aced by promising athletes and field events brought out the sportsman spirit in students. Neptune House emerged as the Champions of the event and Mercury House stood second. Rev. Fr. Nayagasheelan presided over the closing ceremony and awarded the champions. He applauded the team spirit of the teachers and students and highlighted the importance of extracurricular activities in personality formation among children.
