Ethnic Day-2022

"The greater the diversity, the greater the perfection."

‘A Nation’s culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people.’

India is a land of culture. Indian culture and traditions have undoubtedly become renowned across the world. We all refer to the customs and traditions of India as something very diverse and unique. Hence, India is known as a land of Unity in Diversity and also one of the most religiously and ethnically diverse nations in the world. SFS family proudly celebrated Ethnic day on 1st November, 2022.

Rev. Fr. Jabamalai, the Principal of the school, gave an opportunity to celebrate Ethnic day in school to remind students and staff about the rich culture which each one belongs to. The school premise was filled with joy and excitement as all the students and teachers were proudly flaunting themselves with their vibrant and colourful ethnic wear.

The students of Grade - I performed various dances representing different states and their cultures such as Kashmir, Kerala, Manipur, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Maharashtra. Students were particularly dressed in traditional attires of each state respectively as mentioned to celebrate this cultural diversity of India during their performance. It was a moment of joy and pride as all stood united to celebrate the spirit of Indian tradition.
