SFS Public School celebrated Karnataka Rajyotsava with great enthusiasm on 3rd November 2025.

The vibrant celebration was themed “Hasirina Vanasiriya Beedu Namma Thaaynaadu”. The chief guest of the day was Mr. Mudnakudu Chinnaswamy, a renowned Kannada poet, playwright, and essayist.

The celebration commenced with the school band escorting the Chief Guest, followed by an invocation dance, lighting of the ceremonial lamp, and unfurling of the Karnataka State Flag by the Chief Guest.

Students rendered the State Anthem in chorus. The event featured an enchanting dance drama “Punyakoti” and soulful Kannada songs performed by students, which highlighted the cultural richness and significance of the day.

Mr. M. Chinnaswamy, in his address, emphasized the importance of nurturing a love for culture and language among children and families. Rev. Fr. Binoy, Principal of the school, presided over the function and encouraged students to express their commitment towards Karnataka and Kannada, not only through words but through meaningful actions that bring pride and glory to the State.

The program concluded with the National Anthem, marking the end of a memorable and culturally enriching celebration.
