SFS Public School ICSE & ISC celebrated House Mothers’ Day on Saturday, 28 February
2026, with gratitude and joy. The programme was beautifully presented by the Grade 3
students based on the theme “Hands that Care, Hearts that Serve.”
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Fr. Staney Rodrigues and the programme was
conducted in the presence of the Principal, Rev. Fr. Binoy. The house mothers were warmly
welcomed at the entrance with roses as a gesture of appreciation for their loving care and
dedicated service.
The celebration began with an introduction followed by a prayer dance seeking God’s
blessings. A welcome speech was delivered by the students, after which the dignitaries
performed the lighting of the lamp. The house mothers were felicitated and honoured for
their devoted service and were presented with quilts as a token of gratitude.
The students expressed their appreciation through a melodious group song and a
meaningful skit on the theme of gratitude, highlighting the love and care shown by the
house mothers.
The Chief Guest, Fr. Staney Rodrigues, addressed the gathering and appreciated the
dedication of the house mothers as well as the efforts of the students. The Chief Guest was
also felicitated by the school as a mark of respect.
The celebration continued with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony and a grateful tribute to the
house mothers. A special speech delivered by one of the house mothers added a heartfelt
touch to the programme.
In his address, Principal Rev. Fr. Binoy appreciated the commitment of the house mothers
and the wonderful performances by the students.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem,
leaving everyone with a deep sense of gratitude for the invaluable service rendered by the
house mothers.
