SFS Public School ICSE ; ISC joyously inaugurated the Academic Year 2025–26 with Pallav – “Rooted in Values, Striving for Excellence” on 29th May 2025. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Rev. Dr. Santosh Kumar as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour were Rev. Fr. Joshy, Manager of the SFS Group of Institutions, Rev. Fr. Johnson, Principal of SFS Academy, and Rev. Fr. Vijin Mathew, Director of SFS Boys Hostel.

The ceremony began with a traditional welcome and the school band respectfully escorting the dignitaries to the stage. A soulful prayer dance set a serene tone for the morning, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the awakening of knowledge.

After the lighting of the lamp, the students sang the school anthem with great pride and reverence, echoing the values that form the bedrock of the institution. The event further reflected the school’s commitment to holistic values with readings from the Bible, Bhagavad Gita, and Quran, fostering a spirit of unity, peace, and inclusiveness.

Rev. Dr. Santosh Kumar addressed the gathering with a powerful message on upholding values while striving for academic and personal excellence. Along with his inspiring speech, he sang a beautiful and meaningful song, which deeply touched the hearts of the audience and added a soulful dimension to the event. Rev. Fr. Joshy encouraged the students to pursue their goals with determination and humility. Rev. Fr. Binoy, the Principal, inspired the students to remain grounded in principles as they aim high, and also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the dignitaries and the school community.

The programme concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem, marking the beginning of a new academic year brimming with purpose, hope, and the promise of excellence rooted in strong moral values.
