Picnics for Students

At St. Francis De Sales Public School, holistic education is not confined to classrooms alone but it extends beyond academic pursuits to nurture well-being, social interaction, and mental rejuvenation. Recognizing the significance of recreation in balancing the academic rigour and daily stress faced by students, the school thoughtfully organized a series of meticulously planned picnics in the academic year 2025. These excursions were tailored to suit the age and interests of students from Kindergarten to Grade IX, offering them a well-deserved break filled with laughter, learning, and lifelong memories.

For the young learners of Grades I to III, a fun-filled day awaited at Fun World Amusement Park, one of Bengaluru’s premier entertainment destinations. The children were captivated by the vibrant ambience, gentle rides, and interactive activities that catered to their energy levels and curiosity. The day was marked by squeals of joy, cheerful camaraderie, and uninhibited enjoyment.

Grades IV and V embarked on an exciting journey to the heritage-rich city of Mysore, where they spent an exhilarating day at GRS Fantasy Park. The wide array of water rides, dry games, and adventure zones left the students thrilled and beaming with joy. The blend of fun and safe adventure created a perfect atmosphere for social bonding and recreation.

Grades VI and VII explored the thrills of Wonderla Amusement Park, a state-of- the-art entertainment complex known for its adrenaline-pumping rides and world-class facilities. Students showcased remarkable enthusiasm as they navigated the park’s roller coasters, wave pools, and virtual reality zones. It was a day of challenge, excitement, and shared laughter that helped enhance peer relationships and team spirit.

Venturing into nature’s embrace, the Grade VIII students embarked on a scenic trip to the misty hills of Ooty, culminating in an adventurous outing at Black Thunder Water Park. Surrounded by verdant mountains and refreshing landscapes, the students experienced both the serenity of nature and the exhilaration of water adventures. The trip fostered appreciation for the natural world while offering much- needed relaxation.

The Grade IX students journeyed to the picturesque landscapes of Kerala, aptly known as “God’s Own Country.” Their itinerary included Cochin and the tranquil backwaters of Alleppey, where students enjoyed serene houseboat rides, rich cultural exposure, and mesmerizing natural beauty. This immersive experience not only served as a rejuvenating break but also introduced students to Kerala’s unique traditions and ecological diversity.

Throughout these excursions, students were closely supervised by teachers and staff, ensuring a safe and enriching experience. The well-organized trips received enthusiastic participation and positive feedback from both students and parents. More than just recreation, these outings fostered emotional well-being, social bonding, and joyful learning. SFS Public School remains committed to such holistic initiatives.
