SFS Public School (ICSE & ISC) Welcomes ‘New Leaders’ Aboard for the Academic Year 2025–26. The newly elected Student Council members were vested with responsibilities, badges, and sashes during the grand Investiture Ceremony – Shapath, held under the inspiring theme, ‘Today’s Leaders, Tomorrow’s Legends’.

The most awaited event at the beginning of the academic year was celebrated with great excitement and enthusiasm among the students. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome, honouring Chief Guest Subedar Major Rohit Thakur, the Guest of Honour Rev. Dr Jose P Kannainaikal, and Rev. Fr Binoy,the Principal.

The school band welcomed the dignitaries with a formal march, accompanied by resounding cheers and applause echoing through the school arena. The soulful and melodious prayer song rendered by the school choir added grace and solemnity to the occasion.

The ceremony advanced with the dignitaries lighting the traditional lamp, symbolising the illumination of knowledge and wisdom. This was followed by the hoisting of the school flag, led by the Chief Guest, reinforcing the mission and vision of the school.

The distribution of badges and sashes to the newly elected student leaders was a breathtaking and memorable moment, witnessed with awe by the audience. The spirited march past that followed showcased the discipline, confidence, and energy of the new council.

The solemn oath-taking ceremony was administered by Principal Rev. Fr Binoy, marking the official investiture of responsibilities. A symbolic act of leadership followed, as the Head Boy and Head Girl lit their candles and spread the flame to all Student Council members, igniting the spark of leadership and unity.

Inspiring speeches were delivered by the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, Head Boy, and Head Girl, motivating the students to strive towards excellence. A vibrant dance performance by the students further enlivened the event, adding colour and joy.

The event concluded with the felicitation of the dignitaries and an honorable acknowledgment of the outgoing Student Council members for their dedication and service over the past year.

In his address, Rev. Fr Binoy , the Principal, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the staff and students for their meticulous planning and flawless execution, making the event a grand success.
