SFS Public School Shines at KISA Debate Competition

St. Francis De Sales Public School is proud to announce that our students had been a part of ‘Cadence’ Inter-School Music Competition organized by St. Joseph’s Boys High School, Bangalore and were awarded with the rolling trophy of overall Championship second place and received Rs. Exceptional Performance in Inter-School Literary Competition

St. Francis De Sales Public School is delighted to announce that our students have brought pride and recognition to our school through their exemplary performances in ‘Inter-School Literary Competition’ held at Carmel High School on 23rd August, 2023. The school congratulates the participants as well as the dedicated teachers who guided the students.

Aravindan and Shreyas B H displayed their intellectual prowess and teamwork in the ‘Quiz’ Competition, earning themselves the esteemed First Prize.

Kyati Varma was awarded Second Prize in ‘Hindi Essay Writing Competition’ for her linguistic precision and profound writing skill.

Joanna Jaiby Cherian of UKG emerged Champion in the 9th International BrainOBrain Abacus Competition in the 4 to 7 years age category. She has also secured second and third places respectively for Kata and Kumite in the 22nd Shorin Kai National Karate Championship 2023 on 21 January 2023 at University Gymnasium Hall, Mysore.

National Level Contest

Prajoth P from Grade 1 participated in a National Level contest organized by Purple Wings and won the First Prize in Storytelling and Read Aloud. He also won the Second Prize in Handwriting and was awarded the Sparkling Performer Award.

Shashwanth from Grade 5 participated in National SIP Abacus and won the ‘Best Performer’ award at the National level.

Saranya Sistla from Grade 8 won in the Gold category at the National level for her contribution towards The Times of India - NIE website. She received a Tab and a Letter of Honour from The Times of India.Dishita Sohana from Grade 8 also won in the Silver category for her contribution for the month of November 2022.

Desalites at the Model United Nations

MUN - Model United Nations is a conference where students from various schools come together for a debate about the current issues and they try to find the best possible solutions. One such conference was held at Clarence High School, Bangalore, where 6 of our students participated and 4 of them won the “Best First Time Delegate” award. And 2 of them received participation certificates.

Winners of KISA Competitions

Yazhini P from Grade 5 B secured the 3rd prize in the KISA Pick and Speak competition held at Greenwood High School.

Vara Prathiya T from 1 C won the second prize under Grade 1 category, in the KISA Drawing and Colouring Competition 'Kalotsava' organised by St.Mary's Public School.

Proud moments for our Desalites

Manvita M of Grade 1 C made her place in Rabba Book of World Records as the youngest girl who solves 3*3 rubix cube using left hand and creates the Indian National Flag in 90 seconds.

Vamika Shyam of Grade 5 B made it into the India Book of Records for "maximum chakrasanas performed with silambam stick by a child in 1 minute". She also secured the 1st and 2nd position in 2 different categories at the National Level Karate Championship.

Kanisha of Grade 2 F got 3rd place in open state level competition in Spell Bee and Drawing.

ISC Students’ Project under Top 5 at ‘PRAVEGA’

The students of ISC participated in ‘Pravega’, India's largest science, technical and cultural fest, organized by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. It is a fest where under-graduates from IITs, AIIMs and different institutes across India participate.

It was a proud moment for Aaryan Ashish, Pavan Kumar and Parshwa Bora, as their exhibit; a working model named Project-Fate was selected among the Top 5 exhibits across India. They were invited to showcase the same at IISc, Bengaluru.

Vijayshree Anabel of UKG E has received an appreciation certificate from ‘India Book of Records’ for recalling the capitals of 195 UN recognized countries in 3 minutes and 33 seconds.

International Book of Records

The World Record of “YOUNGEST TO SING DIFFERENT SONGS IN MAXIMUM LANGUAGES” was achieved by Daiwika Divya Meruva of class 6 E. She set a new world record in the ‘International Book of Records’ for singing 20 different songs in 19 languages (Swahili, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, French, Swedish, Italian, English, Estonian, Lithuanian, Dutch, Mexican, Romanian, Thai, Hindi, Portuguese, Punjabi, English, Tamil).

ALL INDIA INTER- PROVINCE DEBATE COMPETITION
We are happy to inform you that the students from our school participated and won prizes in the ‘2nd All-India Fr. Peter Mermier, Inter- Province Debate Competition – 2021’. The competition was hosted online by St Francis De Sales Sr.Sec. School, New Delhi on 26th September 2021. The result was declared on 30th September through live streaming on School’s official YouTube Channel. .
