Christmas Celebration-2021

Report

Bright Stars hanging every roof, the bells tinkle every corner, the sparkling lights glowing every street and the tall green trees glitter with pretty ribboned parcels beneath. It’s indeed a time of festivity, a season of Christmas. To Celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, St. Francis De Sales Public School ICSE & ISC organised a Christmas Celebration on 23rd December, 2021. The students of Class VI & VII led the Celebration under the able guidance of their Class Teachers. The program began with a prayer song followed by Welcome Speech and lighting of the lamp. The Chief Guest of the celebration was Rev. Dr. Santhosh Kumar, the Director of De Sales Music Academy, Hebbagodi. He spoke about how Jesus became one amongst human beings through his birth on earth. He also spoke about the symbolic meaning of the exchange of gifts during Christmas which is sharing of joy and peace with each other as Jesus taught us to be selfless and share joy on earth through his exemplary life on earth. It was indeed a moment of fun, melodies and twirling around with various thunderous programs like Nativity, Peppy Dance, Christmas Dance, Carols and also a special performance by a Desalite, Daiwika Divya Meruva on stage, who recently won a recognition for her astounding performance on singing 20 different languages which includes 16 International languages and has been awarded in a book of world record. Daiwika Divya Meruva was also felicitated by Rev. Dr. Santosh Kumar, the Chief Guest and Rev. Fr. Jabamalai, the Principal of St. Francis De Sales Public School. Rev Fr. Jabamalai, the Principal gave a Christmas message of love and emphasised on forgiveness and oneness. He appreciated the students and the entire teaching and non-teaching staff for being a wonderful team throughout the year. He wished everyone a Wonderful Christmas and a prosperous New year 2022. The Celebration ended with a felicitation of the Chief Guest and a vote of thanks.
