Excellence is not a gift, but a conscious choice’

Melange is a fiesta to explore, the unexplored talents of students organized by the school every year. Our principal, Rev. Dr. Jabamalai, did not want to cease the talent search due to pandemic; hence, stepped forward towards the revel of Virtual Melange-2021-22, Excellence is not a gift, but a conscious choice’ wherein students could be given a platform to exhibit their talents from their comfort zone without compromising to showcase their talents due to the pandemic.

The fiesta of Melange-2021-22, was Inaugurated on 25th August 2021, at the hands of Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Lawrence, Principal of SFS Academy in the presence of the guest of honour Rev.Fr.Tony ,Finance Administrator of SFS Institutions and Rev.Dr.Jabamalai, Principal of SFS Public School ICSE & ISC. The inaugural ceremony was a moment of celebration with the presence of Special invitee, the famous Sandalwood Singer, Mr. Ajay Warrier, who flabbergasted the audience with his melodious voice. The virtual presence and message from Reba Monica John, a budding cine Actress and Model from South Indian Entertainment Industry, indeed made Melange 2021-22 a memorable one. Melange commenced with the melody of cords and strings performed by Desalites on stage which awestruck the audience.

The competition was held among the students of four Houses, Saturn, Mercury, Neptune and Venus. The fiesta was organized for four days which included both cultural and literary events. Skit, Dance, Debate, Quiz, Recitation and Extempore Speech were among few events conducted. Melange-2021-22 came to its culmination on 28th August 2021, with prize distribution followed by declaration of Winners and Runners Up of Melange 2021-22, bagged by Saturn and Venus House respectively. Rev. Fr. Joshi Manager SFS Institution, Rev. Fr. Duraiswamy, Assistant Priest SFS Church were the Guests of Honours. The chief guest,Rev. Fr. Victor Kujur, Principal SFS PU College, Bangalore, declared the Melange Meet Closed for the academic year 2021-22.
