St. Francis De sales Public School ICSE and ISC observed the 74th Republic Day on 26th January 2023 with great zeal showcasing the true Indian spirit with the theme of the programme ‘May the Indian spirit prosper forever.’ Former Indian Basketball Coach, Captain GRL Prasad was the Chief Guest of the day.

Invoking God’s blessings was the foremost endeavour of the day followed by welcome Speech. Thereafter the students of Grade II from all the sections played musical instruments and sang patriotic song with much vigour and pride intending to spread awareness among the people about ones rights and responsibilities as citizens of the country. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering and emphasized on the importance of Republic Day

The young Desalites performed patriotic dance showcasing our country’s glory through their gestures and encouraged the gathering to work towards making the world a better place to live.

Our Principal rewarded the Desalites for achievements and appreciated the efforts of entire SFS team for conducting such patriotic and delightful programme. The programme ended with a vote of thanks.
